      Many of my clients come to therapy because they feel discouraged. The people around them appear to not understand the challenges and discomforts they're facing in their lives. 

      In attempting to address our recurring struggles, friends, family and co-workers often give advice or put a positive spin on what's hard.This can leave us feeling frustrated and inadequate that we seem to be baffled by things that others appear to have figured out. 

      In a society that values mind over matter, the inner obstacles that get in our way are often far more complicated then is socially recognized. We need more understanding and acceptance of the complexity of our inner worlds in order that we can continue to grow. This is support you can find in good therapy.
